Gamevy joins YG Masters

Award-winning gaming supplier Gamevy is the latest name to join Yggdrasil’s YG Masters programme.

The YG Masters only launched back in 2018, aiming to help independent studios develop and distribute their unique games. Despite the fact it is fairly new, the programme is significant for developing innovative gaming content alongside smaller creators.

Gamevy’s partnership with Yggdrasil through the YG Masters programme will help them to establish themselves as an even greater force in the world of online gaming.

YG Masters

The YG Masters programme enables smaller, independent gaming studios to utilise Yggdrasil’s technology and network. This collaboration helps them to design, develop, and distribute their content on an even greater scale.

Because of this partnership, Gamevy will now have access to Yggdrasil’s GATI technology. This is a standardised, language agnostic solution which enables developers to create content and distribute it across the supplier’s network.

They will also be able to collaborate and cross-sell games to any YG Franchisee. This will give them new streams of income on a global level, and will boost their reputation across the world.

Match made in heaven

Gamevy is an innovative supplier and gaming operator that creates some top-quality games. They create gameshows, lotteries, and scratch cards which stand out from other games in these categories.

For example, some of Gamevy’s popular titles include Snake, Psycho Candies, and Roulette variations.

Meanwhile, Yggdrasil began in 2013. Since then Yggdrasil has become one of the top online gaming solutions across the world with licences in numerous jurisdictions.

Some of their top titles include the Joker series, the PopRocks series (including their recent WildPops release), Trolls Bridge, Jackpot Raiders, and their widely popular Vikings Series.

“a perfect fit”

Stuart McCarthy, Head of Partner Strategy and Sourcing at Yggdrasil, said of the partnership:

“It’s with immense pleasure that I welcome Gamevy to the YG Masters family. Gamevy has quickly grown from being an emerging studio developer to a brand held in very high regard by players and the industry with a host of fun and engaging slots titles. As such they are a perfect fit for the YG Masters programme.

“YG Masters is now well-established and has attracted several fantastic independent studios from all over the world that we are thrilled to have as our partners.”

Talking about their collaboration with Yggdrasil, Helen Walton, CCO of Gamevy, said:

“Yggdrasil has a reputation not only for their own fantastic titles, but also for really understanding how to give operators promotional tools that players love.

“As a team they have an eye for quality, and we’re delighted to be working with them to bring our own gorgeous games to an even bigger audience. We know that we can scale our distribution faster as a YG Masters partner and we look forward to making the most of the opportunity.”
