NetEnt extends into the Switzerland gaming market

Leading online gaming provider NetEnt was recently awarded ISO 27001 certification.

ISO 27001 certification is an information security standard that has a set of requirements for companies to meet. These include information security controls and infrastructure to protect sensitive data, an examination of information security risks, and a management process to make sure the security controls meet the company’s needs.

In short, the ISO 27001 certification identifies companies that commit to information security management standards. So, now NetEnt has this certification, it demonstrates their commitment to this cause.

What this means

The significance of NetEnt receiving this ISO 27001 certification is considerable.

It means NetEnt can access new regulated markets and WLA procurements that they previously could not access. One of these such markets is Switzerland.

Since receiving the certification, NetEnt has launched its games on Grand Casino Luzern (on the Paf platform) and Grand Casino Baden (on Gamanza’s platform). The operator intends to extend its game selection on other Swiss operators over the next weeks and months.

“reliable, trustworthy, and secure”

Henrik Fagerlund, Managing Director of NetEnt Malta says:

“The ISO 27001 certification is an important acknowledgment for us and is the result of dedicated and hard work from our team. We pride ourselves on being a reliable, trustworthy and secure partner to customers and players.”

He follows with:

“We continue to deliver on our strategy to grow by strengthening our position in regulated markets. We are very pleased to take this step into the Swiss market and look forward to launching our award-winning games with even more operators soon.”

NetEnt is one of the largest and most renowned gaming providers in the online casino industry. They have offices across the globe, including in the UK, USA, Malta, Sweden, Gibraltar, and the Ukraine.

They provide hundreds of games to hundreds of customers, aiming to deliver quality and innovative entertainment. NetEnt also ensure their games are available to enjoy on any device, including desktops and mobiles.

Some of their most famous games include Starburst, Gonzo’s Quest, Lost Relics, Finn and the Swirly Spin, Aloha! Cluster Pays, Dead or Alive, and many more.

They also offer other games as well as slots, such as table games like Roulette and Blackjack.

Players can access NetEnt’s titles on numerous online casinos across the globe and, with this new certification, the number of casinos supplying NetEnt games will undoubtedly increase even further.
