New Splitz features launched by Yggdrasil

Gaming provider Yggdrasil recently announced the launch of its new Splitz mechanic feature. They claim it will offer an exciting element to their casino games, in particular their new slot releases, as they hope to boost player engagement with it.

What is the Splitz mechanic?

Yggdrasil has hyped up the Splitz mechanic as changing the way players will win forever by offering infinite potential.

This new Splitz mechanic will add a twist to Yggdrasil’s slot games as the feature will cause mystery symbols to drop onto the reels of a game. Players will then have to wait and watch the animation to see how many tiles the symbol splits into, up to a maximum of 12 symbols per stack.

Players have the potential to win big from these symbols, so the anticipation and tension will build as the reward is revealed!

When and where?

Players can first experience the new Splitz mechanic on Temple Stacks, which is due to be released in January 2020. This game will offer an industry first, as it will give players an astonishing 200,000 plus ways to win!

Temple Stacks is an Aztec-themed slot game. Although this is a standard theme, the Splitz mechanic will add a new and exciting element to gameplay to bring back some novelty to the slot game! However, for newer players, and ones that prefer a more classic game by Yggdrasil, you can always see their magnificent, older slot games like the Sahara Nights Slot which is very popular amongst newer players.

“An exhilarating boost”

Yggdrasil’s Product Owner Slots, Natalya Ovchinnikova, said about the new feature:

“We are delighted to launch Splitz, an electrifying new mechanic that gives our slot gameplay an exhilarating boost.

“The feature exemplifies our constant drive for innovation, and we look forward to introducing it to operator partners and players.”
